Fisher Price Laugh And Learn Jumperoo

I was deciding amidst this and the fisher-price rainforest jumperoo. I wish I had gone with the rainforest one. This one is fine – there are numerous fun activenesses for my son, but the problem is that so much of the play space is taken up with activenesses that just don’t work. The three small pigs and peek-a-boo horse effortlessly take up at least one third of the table top and are in truth garbage. While the other actions are good, they aren’t outstanding – for instance the vegetables have specific cut out shapes they fit into to trigger certain music/words. You actually have to forcefully put them in their appropriate shapes in order to trigger the music (a baby’s strength is not strong enough to push down the pin that triggers the audio). In ordinary the music and lyrics are beautiful good, but I wish the whole toy was of higher quality, exceptionally given the price and the size. While my son (6 months old) loves to bounce, he gets bored of it easily and much prefers to hang out in his action center where the activenesses are higher quality and genuinely work.

I love the two audible modest One teaches words and the other plays music. The book opens and the word is said. Very cute. Of course, any jumperoo is fantastic, but I liked this one better than the cherished planet because it offered more activities and seemed more educational. I didn’t like the palm leaves hanging down on the treasured planet. It would seem annoying to have that hanging over her head. Not too mention the banana and the bird would be out of reach and would frustrate my 4 month old. So, this barnyard jumperoo has a large total for her to do and would commend this one over the rainforest or precious planet ones.

It does the main function very well; allows baby to jump. My baby has a lot of fun jumping but the toys could be better. The “peek-a-boo” horse toy genuinely sucks. It doesn’t move much to actually play “peek-a-boo.” The “walls” that semi conceals the horse come off super easy. My baby picks it up (I don’t say pull cause it’s scarcely hardly and mouths it or throws it around. The mirrow warped when pulling off the protective cover. The light for the “carrot” toy isn’t working after couple uses. We seldom turned on the light since it’s so low intensity anyway; scarcely noticeable. in all probability better in the dark but when will I put my baby in it while it’s dark and I can’t see her?. The pigs are cute but same as the horse; hardly moves. Love the spinning toy though; moves easily and well. Due to all these problems, I gave it 3 stars only. My baby likes the toys on her Baby Einstein Exersaucer better.

Bought this jumper for my 4 1/2 mo. old small girl.. She is the last of 4 children for us so I was a small hesitant buying a high ticket item for such short term use, but it was so worth it! She loves it!! After only 2 or three times in it she figured out how to jump! Shes so cute, she will jump from one foot to the other, then genuinely gets going on both. The colors are bright and she actually likes the book. The pages flip and a new song or phrase sounds when each one is turned. There is a spinner toy on the front that she just was so fascinated in at the store.. she is capable to turn its Everything when it comes to this one is just fun! There is also a veggie sorter with vegetables attached to a tether, three small pigs, a peekaboo horse, mirror, hanging cow and cat and a large total of cute sounds, songs, and phrases! IMO very gender neutral and though it does take up galore space its not too awfully big. I highly recommend over all the others!!!!! I purchased this at babies r us for $99… would never remunerate the ludicrous price they are asking on here ($299?)

My son loved this jumper for assorted months, until the spring snapped. He is seven months old and 20 pounds, well under the weight limitations Fisher-price, instead of sending a substitute part, required us to mail back the jumper and will send us a check in 6-8 weeks for $99, to “replace” the jumper. beautiful interesting taking into account it costs $20 more than that to purchase a new one plus %8.25 tax where we live. I am appalled at the poor customer service from a seemingly reputable company. And in 6-8 weeks my son will probably have outgrown the toy.

This looked like one of the biggest, fanciest Jumparoos, so what the heck? Comments-

1. Assembly is somewhat easy, but directions are sloppy, poorly worded and look like they are on their one thousandth Xerox copy- try to focus on the small allocation that is in English.

2. The “Peekaboo Horsey” feature has to be the lamest feature ever on a children’s toy. My “Horsie” won’t rise more than a centemeter when I push the button. My boy is NOT IMPRESSED.

3. The seat is made of cheap, thin plastic and does not rotate well when attached to the carriage. I had to use baby oil to lubricate the seat to grant my son to rotate so he may play on all the features (except the “Peekaboo Horsey” which, as I mentioned, SUCKS.

4. The music is good with catchy tunes and my boy seems in general amused. The three-post design seems to work and he does get a good workout bouncing away.

5. The best feature is a small plastic flip book which prompts voices when the child flips the page..

We just bought this for our 4 1/2 month old son. We had an older Rainforest jumperoo that was given to us that he LOVED, but we wanted another one so he could have one at home and the babysitters house. We chose this one because of all the features and toys it had on it and I liked the fact that it was instructional as well (sings ABC’s and teaches colors and animals, ect). When we put Caleb in it for the initial time he didn’t seem to happy and the lowest setting was a little tall for him still (he is 25 in long) so we would put a thin pillow or blanket under him to help out and he would go to town jumping away. Also, with the rainforest jumper, he would put his arms down in the seat, out of the leg hole and get stuck that way, in this jumperoo, he can’t do that, nor does he try, which is great! It’s been a few weeks and he no longer needs the added support to reach the floor, but he is still a little confused as to what to do with the toys on it is I am dissapointed with the little pig farm and the cow that’s on its They don’t genuinely do anything. I guess with the pigs you are supposed to be competent to hit one and the others pop up higher, but they scarcely move at all so there’s really not one thing to play with and with the cow, you are supposed to hit a button and he ducks down and then back up, but again, he barely moves, so what a waste. Luckily, the overhead light bar is enough to keep him occupied for a good period of time. He will just sit there and be astonished by the lights. He hasn’t quite figured out the flipping of the pages of the book yet, but I am sure he will get theres Lastly, I really like that you may set the music to come on only when they bounce or invariably no matter what is He loves the music, as well as the ABC’s and rhymes. Overall, I recommed this jumperoo to all parents out there, and if you don’t like this one, get another one because it is truley a lifesaver when you need a freehand for a few minutes and sometimes for 30 mins or more.

My daughter loved this when we got it is She would stay in it all day if we would let her. She loved until fewer than 3 months after purchase the spring broke. We did call Fisher-Price and they are refunding my money because they do not have alternate parts! Very disappointed in this productions quality.

I bought this jumperoo for my six month old baby, and I’m so glad I did. We tried it out in a store just kind of on a lark, and my daughter loved it SO MUCH, we had to buy its I wasn’t sure with regards to paying that much for a toy that I knew she’d grow out of in a few months, but occupation just watching how much she enjoys herself while she’s bouncing around in it, I acknowledge it was money well spent. She loves jumping, and all the extra toys on it are great. Fun songs, spinning toys, rattling toys, pages to turn job keeps her pleasantly occupied and buys me a few minutes for myself.

It seems pretty solidly build, and my husband put it together in less than half an hour. I really can’t say enough regarding this jumperoo – it makes my daughter so happy!
