33 2385 High Performance Replacement Filters

I purchased this hoping it would improve airflow to my EcoBoost and it did… I may feel a slight improvement, not one thing tremendous but noticeable.

I as well saw a 1 mpg betterment over the oem air filter..I’m now averaging 24 mpg’s after 2 tanks.

I have a 2011 F150 Ecoboost so one of my introductory upgrades was moving to a permanent air filter. My last truck was a 1998 Dakota which I just sold this summer. The K&N (cone type on that intake) was fine after over 10 years of employed I just wash and re-oil once every year. Over time, spending $40 once is better for me than $15 every year since I keep vehicles a long time.

This air filter, K&N 33-2385, does not fit my 2009 Ford F150 with 5.4 engine.

This K&N 33-2385 Replacement Air filter works as designed and installed in in regards to 3 min. I have a 2010 F-150 5.4L engine.

Okay, I ordered this item and applied the vehicle selection option for fitment. I have a 2009 F-150 and this is supposed to fit. Accordning to K&N, this is the rectify model number. However, I accept the filter and it doesn’t fit! The filter is too broad for the air box. I contacted K&N….spoke to “Vincent” who said it must in fact fit – even told me to make certain I had a 2009 airbox and not a 2008 model. Are you kidding me? Needless to say, K&N wasn’t any assists Vincent said they would get back to me but they haven’t and certain they won’t.

It did not fit the right way had strength into box so the side would bow in witch would let dirt pass into engine. So I did not use NO GOOD.

I just wanted to say to every one that is sceptical with regards to the fitment of this item. I just completed installing this filter on a 2009 F150 5.4 with no issues. I recognise I read a couple of individuals said it did not fit. I had no issues fit like a glove. Hope this helps.

This filter fits just like it ought to on my 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat,4×4,super crew,5.4 liter engine.My truck was built in August 2009.Footprint of this filter matches the oem to a T.

Had purchased K&N for other vehicles.

NO INCREASE IN MPG. however, increase in accelaration. great cash saving product whether or not u plan to keep a vehicle for a while
